Moynish House is a family run Bed & Breakfast in the heart of Mulranny, Co. Mayo. We also have a fully licensed bar, where you can enjoy a drink in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
We welcome guests from all across Ireland and indeed the world, who want to experience the west of Ireland. Established in 1963 by Ciaran and Sheila Moran, Moynish House sits on the shore of Clew Bay with astounding views of Clew Bay and Croagh Patrick. We are only 100 meters from the Mulranny Park Hotel and in close proximity to shops and pubs.
As well as offering stunning natural beauty, Mulranny is perfectly positioned for many activities and is only a 10 minute drive from Achill Island and 20 minutes from Westport. As well as that, we are situated right along the route of The Wild Atlantic Way.
The Great Western Greenway runs through the heart of Mulranny, a terrific facility which can be enjoyed by cyclists and walkers of all ages. We offer storage facilities for bicycles during your stay. For people hiring bicycles there are several Bicycle Hire companies available locally.
Mulranny is a paradise for both Shore and Sea Anglers. River Angling is available locally in Ballycroy on the Owenduff River and in Newport on the Black Oak River and for Golf enthusiasts, Mulranny Golf Links is in only a two minute drive from our Guesthouse.
During the winter months a warm turf fire awaits in our fully licensed cosy bar which is frequented by both locals and guests. On occasion we have traditional music with a card night every week!
